The agreement between you and Narrate for using the app during Beta.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Narrate ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Cookie & Data Notice.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Narrate. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms with you. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the app.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. Please give accurate details and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

One account is for one person. Do not share your account or let others use it.

3. How you may use Narrate

Narrate is a language-practice tool. You may use it to describe and explain photos from your own life and to compare your writing with suggested phrasing.

Your use must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: only upload content you have the right to share, keep it appropriate, and respect other people.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you submit ("your content"). You grant Narrate a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the app for you — for example, to run it through our language model and show you feedback.

You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights needed to submit it. Do not upload anything you would not be comfortable processing through a third-party service.

5. AI-generated suggestions

Narrate uses automated language models to generate example phrasing, corrections, and notes. These suggestions can be wrong, incomplete, or not suited to your situation.

Suggestions are for learning and are not professional, legal, medical, or other expert advice. Use your own judgment.

6. Beta service

Narrate is currently in Beta and provided free of charge. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, or that data will be preserved during Beta.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Narrate and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or to protect users or comply with the law.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Narrate is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you in the app. Continuing to use Narrate after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
